EMLI values public input which informs and supports a robust understanding and assessment of a proposed project. The most helpful comments are ones that highlight unique interests that may be impacted by the project.
Helpful example: “I live near the project site, and I am concerned about dust emissions around my home and how it may affect my health.”
Less helpful example: “I am opposed to this project.”
The following questions may be helpful in guiding your comments to EMLI:
- What is your interest in the Bamberton Quarry and how do you think it could affect you or your community (either positively or negatively)?
- Are there any positive or negative effects on the natural environment or on health, social, cultural, or economic conditions that you think may occur as a result of the proposed works in the Bamberton Quarry application?
Comments which contain vulgarity will not be accepted.
