Helpful Guidelines

EMLI values public input which informs and supports a robust understanding and assessment of a proposed project. The most helpful comments are ones that highlight unique interests that may be impacted by the project.

Helpful example: “I live near the project site, and I am concerned about dust emissions around my home and how it may affect my health.”
Less helpful example: “I am opposed to this project.”

The following questions may be helpful in guiding your comments to EMLI:

  1. What is your interest in the Bamberton Quarry and how do you think it could affect you or your community (either positively or negatively)?
  2. Are there any positive or negative effects on the natural environment or on health, social, cultural, or economic conditions that you think may occur as a result of the proposed works in the Bamberton Quarry application?

Comments which contain vulgarity will not be accepted.
